A Tale Of Heartbreak and Hope
A Tale of Heartbreak and Hope is an illustrated book that tells part of my story of suicide bereavement. It begins with paranormal experiences in my new home, follows the sudden loss of an old flame, and ends with an opportunity to grow.
The design combines quick black and white illustrations with text made up with stamped letters. The narrative has a “thread of thought” style, meaning that it jumps between subjects rather quickly, it has gaps or “voids”, and it is open to interpretation.

Un cuento de dolor y esperanza
Un cuento de dolor y esperanza es un libro ilustrado que cuenta una parte de la historia sobre mi duelo por suicidio. Comienza con experiencias paranormales en mi nuevo hogar, sigue la pérdida repentina de un viejo amor, y termina con la oportunidad de crecer.
El diseño combina ilustraciones rápidas en blanco y negro y su texto está compuesto con letras estampadas. La narrativa tiene un estilo similar al "hilo de pensamiento", lo que significa que salta entre temas con facilidad, tiene vacíos o "lagunas" y está abierta a la interpretación.
